Wasim Akram Captain Completes His Hat-Trick

Legendary Captain left arm bowler and former captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Wasim Akram completed his second test hat-trick against Sri Lanka. The King of Swing achieved the milestone in Asian Test Championship in 2000 in the second inning of Islanders. His brilliant swing bowling troubled the top three batsmen of opposition and he registered his second hat-trick.

Captain Wasim Akram delivered the short pitch to opening batsman which he could not tackle it right and guided towards gully position where Shahid Afridi grabbed a stunning catch. His feet were in the air when he grabbed the catch and first success was obtained in the very first over. The management of Sri Lanka Cricket Team decided to send Chaminda Vaas as night watchman but he too failed in front of King of Swing.

Wasim Akram was bowling very well against Sri Lanka and he was swinging the ball both ways. It was the incident when he got the hatrick against Sri Lanka and got his name written in the world records. Wasim Akram was known as the best left arm fast bowler in the world. He played his cricket mainly on the pitches in the sub continent.

Captain never knew that he could be able to complete his hatrick since Sri Lanka players looked to defend the ball to survive. Pakistani fielders were also putting pressure on the players of Sri Lanka so that he could make the history in that match.

Captain asked everybody to gear up their feet and they all wanted Wasim Akram to get his hatrick completed. It was historical moment for the world class bowler who was lucky enough get the wicket on the third ball too. Amazing scenes were seen in the ground since everybody from the Pakistani team was enjoying and celebrating the hatrick of the legendary fast bowler.
