Fast bowler Muhammad Amir hit 3 brilliant sixes to Kiwi left arm spinner Daniel Vettori in an One Day International match at Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium. The left arm fast bowler set a new world record for last wicket partnership along with Saeed Ajmal against New Zealand. Unfortunately both players could not achieve the target for victory.

Muhammad Amir smashed 3 sixes and several boundaries to Kiwi bowlers and resisted brilliantly against strong looking bowling attack. At one stage green shirts were very close to achieve incredible victory against New Zealand but off spinner Saeed Ajmal could not resist more. Over excitement forced him to make mistake and he played a poor shot.

The batting of green shirts collapsed badly in run chase and defeat was on the cards for them when left arm bowler and off spinner Ajmal made a last stand. Unfortunately they lost by very few margin due to poor shot otherwise it could have been a brilliant victory for them. The top order and middle order batsmen did not bat well at all on such a beautiful track to bat on against New Zealand bowlers.

The impatience and weak foot work of the batsmen caused defeat and ultimately loss of series as well.

Green shirts had great chance to win the series after getting out Kiwi batsmen on low score and the pitch was supporting the batsmen as well. Its the poor shot selections which caused deep trouble for green shirts and even incredible inning of Muhammad Amir could not help them to cross the line.
