Sharjeel Khan Bats Against England

Sharjeel Khan Bats Against England. Emerging left arm bowler Junaid Khan surprised Chris Gayle along with spectators in PSL T20 match at Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium. He cleaned him up on very first ball of his spell with sharp in dipper and the crowd silenced for couple of minutes on unexpected incident. However the supporters of Peshawar Zalmi celebrated the wicket of power hitting batsman.

Chris Gayle was representing Lahore Qalandars in PSL while left arm bowler Junaid Khan was the premier bowler of Peshawar Zalmi. The bowler knew the importance of Gayle’s wicket therefore he did not want to take chances against such dangerous batsman. He knew that Gayle’s weakness was the sharp in dipper early on and he planned for the wicket which worked for him.

The left arm bowler came back in cricket arena after recovering from knee injury and he almost missed 3 years of his career. He toured India in 2012 where he stunned Indian batsmen through his seam bowling and got the wicket of Virat Kohli three times in three matches. No batsman could play him with confidence in all three matches and eventually green shirts wan the series quite comfortably.

The very next year green shirts toured South Africa for three match ODI series and unexpectedly they won the series in the last crucial match. Left arm bowler Junaid Khan bowled the last over of the match and he did not disappoint the nation at all. The captain Misbah-ul-Haq had confidence on his premier bowler and he bowled the last six deliveries with brilliant pace and green shirts won the match by 1 run.

Due to his brilliant performances in the past, Captain of Peshawar Zalmi Shahid Khan Afridi picked him in the first edition of PSL. Junaid Khan bowled quite brilliantly throughout the tournament and wicket of Chris Gayle on very first ball became one of the finest memories for him.
