Pakistan Tour to Bangladesh 2015

Pakistani selectors are in discussion to select the players for Pakistan tour to Bangladesh 2015. Captains from all three formats of T20, ODIs and Test matches are also participating to finalize the squad for the upcoming tour.

Former test cricketer and current chief selector Haroon rasheed along with the other four members of selection committee have been in meetings to finalize the squad for the upcoming tour to Bangladesh. Sources have also told that they will also have consultation for the new central contracts of the contracted cricket team players.

Sources have told that the selectors have decided to include young players for the tour and it is decided to drop out of form Umer Akmal and Nasir Jamshed.Umer Akmal made only 164 runs in seven worldcup matches while Nasir jamshed could only make 5 runs in four worldcup matches. Fawad Alam will surely be in the squad, Sami Aslam and Babar Azam are also strong contenders. Anwar Ali will also be part of the one dayers and T20 team, sources claimed.

After the unsatisfactory performance of the Pakistani team in the worldcup matches against the test playing nations and retirement of the former Pakistani captain Misbah Ul Haq, Azhar Ali has been named the captain of the ODIs along with wicket keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed to be his deputy. The Selector have also appointed Azhar Ali to be the vice captain of the Pakistani cricket team in the Test matches as well. While in T20 matches, Shahid Afridi will lead the side and Sarfraz Ahmed will be the vice captain of the team.

Team camp will be organized for the preparation of the series, which may well b started on 6th of April 2015. Pakistan team will play two test matches, three ODIs and a T20 match on the tour to Bangladesh 2015.
